Privacy Policy
Effective date: June 1, 2026
Who we are
KA Labs AS (org. nr. 937 219 350) operates this website, ka-labs.io. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us at [email protected].
This policy covers the website only. The KA Labs platform is a business-to-business service, and the processing of data within it is governed by separate agreements we enter into with each customer.
What we collect
Contact form. If you submit the contact form, we receive what you enter: your name and email address, and optionally your company, job title, and message. We use this information only to respond to your inquiry. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering messages you choose to send us (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).
Technical data. When you visit the site, our hosting and security providers process your IP address and standard request data, such as browser type and pages requested, for the sole purpose of delivering the site and protecting it against abuse. We do not use this data to identify or profile visitors.
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand overall traffic and site performance. It is a privacy-first tool: it sets no cookies, uses no persistent identifiers, and does not track visitors across sites. We only see aggregated metrics such as page views, referrers, and country-level location, and we cannot identify individual visitors from them.
Service providers
We rely on a small number of providers to run this website. They process data on our behalf and only as needed to deliver their service:
- Cloudflare provides DNS, network security, and the cookie-free analytics described above.
- Google Cloud (Firebase Hosting) hosts and serves the website.
- Formspark processes contact form submissions and forwards them to our email.
Where a provider processes data outside the EEA, the transfer is protected by appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep data
Contact form submissions are kept only as long as needed to handle your inquiry and any follow-up, after which they are deleted. Beyond that, we do not store personal data about visitors to this website.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you, to restrict or object to our processing of it, and to receive a copy in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, email us at [email protected] and we will respond promptly.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Norwegian Data Protection Authority, Datatilsynet (datatilsynet.no).
Changes to this policy
If we change how this website handles personal data, we will update this policy and revise the effective date at the top of the page.
